A great opportunity to buy a copy of a VINYL LP from the 60's by Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers called Got To Get You Into Our Life.
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST EXAMPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN OF THIS RECORD. It is absolutely STUNNING!
Released in 1967 on the Parlophone (yellow & black) label ( PMC 7017 )(mono), it has a total of 12 tracks (see photos for track listing).
This is the first pressing issue, with The Gramophone Co.Ltd label rim, with Sold In The U.K....., and Made In Great Britain printed on both labels.
The matrix numbers are:- XEX 621-1 (side 1) and XEX 622-1 (side 2)
The cover has been superbly protected by a polythene cover since its original purchase in 1967, resulting in an almost new condition, apart from the faintest of wear along the opening edge and I am being really critical here in an effort to find a blemish of any description!
The record is in a lovely, shiny NEAR-MINT condition, with only a faint spindle mark to indicate it has ever been played. I have played it just the once all the way through and it plays and sounds superb.
The labels are free from any writing, marks or defects.
It comes housed in its original plain white inner sleeve in excellent condition and within a laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback picture cover in a lovely clean and almost new condition, apart from the slight area of minor wear mentioned above. There is a "D1" stamp mark on the rear cover (see photo) possibly made at the manufactoring plant or by the original retailers.
