1961 GEE RECORDS STEREO SGLP-707
I believe this is the original U.S. Pressing.
It has the original grey Gee Label with the red logo
.
I understand that the stereo pressing is much rarer than the mono, which adds to the appeal. This stereo version is super rare and can't be found anywhere. I have been unable to find it, except for one past Ebay listing that bidders paid $838 for!
The record labels are clean and in mint condition
The record has Audiomatrix stamped in the trail-off vinyl area, which I understand is proof of authenticity of the first pressing
The record has a date stamp of 12 - 5 - 61 which was hand etched in the trail off vinyl
The condition of the record is excellent. Except for some very minor scuffs I believe that this could be rated mint. There does not appear to be any major flaws. However, I am no authority on grading records, but it appears to be in very good shape. The labels too are mint condition.
The condition of the cover is excellent. No rips, tears, writing, stickers, etc. Only normal minor shelf wear and slight yellowing that you could expect from a jacket that is over fifty years old.
This record was pressed on thick inflexible vinyl, which I understand was usually used for first or very early pressings.
