CLEAR BLUE SKY ~ S/T LP

Original 1970 U.K. first issue pressing released on the "spiral" Vertigo label 6360 013. 

Description :

This hard progressive rock classic is now very sought after by collectors not only because of the superb music but also because it has become one of the hardest of all albums to find on the Vertigo label.

The band, from Acton, West London, were discovered by Patrick Campbell-Lyons of Nirvana playing in a local youth club. They were originally known as "X". Campbell-Lyons signed them to Vertigo and they cut their only album at the time of which all three members of the band were only 18 years old. They eventually split in 1973 although surprisingly reformed and made further albums in the 1990s.

Condition ~ Vinyl :

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition with just the odd light hairline. Plays superbly throughout.

Condition ~ Sleeve :

The gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition. The only real flaws are a few small sticker tears in the top right-hand corner, one of which slightly encroaches into the Vertigo logo. Otherwise, the sleeve has only light overall wear. No splits or writing.

Comes complete with the original Vertigo "spiral" inner sleeve which is in great shape.
