London Calling is the third album by English punk rock band The Clash, released 14 December 1979, on CBS Records in the UK and in January 1980 on Epic Records in the United States. The album represented a change in The Clash's musical style, and featured elements of ska, pop, soul, rockabilly and reggae music.[1] The album's subject matter included unemployment, racial conflict, drug use, and the responsibilities of adulthood.[2]

The album received unanimously positive reviews and was ranked at number eight on Rolling Stone' list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003.[3] London Calling was a top ten album in the UK, and its lead single "London Calling" was a top twenty single.[4] It has sold over two million copies worldwide,[3] and was certified platinum in the United States.[5]Track listing

Condition Grading of Vinyl Records

 the condition-grading of records is visually because, due to the high volume of items handled, it is impossible for me to test-play every record. All records are subject to detailed visual scrutiny after professional cleaning. I use the basics of Record Collector's Rare Record Prices Guide grading as the the system employed in the condition-grading of vinyl records offered for auction

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

 All questions will be answered as soon as possible 

Delivery:

All items are posted recorded delivery so both parties are covered. They will be trackable and posted within appropriate strengthened envelopes/boxes. I try to recycle all postage materials where possible to be as environmentally friendly as possible and to keep P&P costs down.
