Description

Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1953 4-78 boxed album of Arthur Godfrey’s classic Christmas album on Columbia set C-348. Features his whole family of performers, including Janette Davis, Marian Marlowe, Frank Parker, Lu Ann Simms, the McGuire Sisters, and Hawaiian singer Haleloke Kahauolopua. Just a wonderful set of Christmas classics. All four discs are very nearly pristine with only a few light scuffs. Really clean and shiny, they all play just about perfectly. The box is likewise in very nice shape, with only one torn corner at the lower right, a surface tear to the side of Godfrey’s face, and just the bare beginnings of a small split at the right center edge (see photos). Not bad at all. Mostly very clean, with a perfectly intact spine. Really a top, top copy, hard to beat.
