Description

SUGAR "CHILE" ROBINSON    *RARE* Christmas Boogie/Jazz 1950, GREAT, Boogie Piano / Slap Bass / Drums / and Nice Vocal*  Frank Isaac Robinson was a Self Taught Piano Playing Child Prodigy. He recorded this record when he was only 11 years old. He played for President Harry Truman when he was 7 in 1946 at the White House and played there again for the 70th anniversary of that event just this past April 2016 at age 77. In the early years he was unable to go on the road with the great jazz musicians because of his age, but did many Radio Shows, Concerts, and a movie with the likes of Count Basie, Billy Holiday, Lionel Hampton and many others, always in demand.     CAPITOL F1259 "Christmas Boogie / Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer"      Strong VG (lite surface scratches, plays thru both sides just fine) Nice Fidelity      *SEE PHOTOS*    Nice Record
