CHRISTIAN MARCLAY: Footsteps (1989) MINT/Test Pressing!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a MINT condition TEST PRESSING of the famed performance given by Christian Marclay at the Shedhalle in Zürich, 1989. The white label promo bears the stamp "18th May 1989"; at the time, this record was pressed in an edition of 3000 copies. During Marclay`s exhibition, visitors walked all over the records; thereby leaving each record with its own specific imprint. No mint copies of Christian Marclay`s composition, "Footsteps" (on the one-sided record) ever came into circulation; so this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to hear the original composition - as it was never meant to be heard!

ACHTUNG: Dies ist eine TESTPRESSUNG in MINT Zustand der berühmten Performance von Christian Marclay aus der Shedhalle Zürich, 1989. Die Probepressung mit weissem Label trägt den Stempel "18th May 1989"; zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde die Schallplatte in einer Auflage von 3000 Stück gepresst. Während Marclays Ausstellung gingen die Besucher auf den Scheiben umher und hinterliessen so auf jeder LP ihren ganz eigenen Abdruck (Abrieb der Schuhe, Kratzer, etc). Daher existieren keine eigentlichen MINT-Pressungen von Christian Marclays Komposition, "Footsteps", welche (einseitig) auf die Schallplatte gepresst war - ausser dieser! Hier also die wohl einmalige Gelegenheit, die Original-Komposition so zu hören wie es nie vorgesehen war!
