Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. MEGA RARE UK 1970 1st (and only!!!)PRESSING STEREO BIRTH LP (RAB 1)
I have sold some very rare records in the last 6 months or so on this site but here I think is the rarest so far!!!!, issued on the tiny BIRTH label in 1970, Great female vocals, originals and a couple of covers - amazing version of FIRE'S "Flies Like A Bird", also features Dave Lambert from the Strawbs, and Peter York, John Morgan etc. This is a superb original UK pressing and I think this is the only stock issue to have shown up on E bay in the last 3 years!!!! The only other 2 I know of that have been sold on E bay have been not so nice promo copys that have white labels ,here is the real deal and it is as rare as it gets!!!!

The LP is in superb condition and has only been played a couple of times, the vinyl has superb full original gloss and plays with great superb sound on both sides with no horrid surface sound Etc, There is on 1 very small very fine (5mm) tiny little mark that is not deep or serious or can NOT be felt that causes some light ticks on the quite intro of side 2 otherwise the disc plays as new (most would have not mentioned this as it is that small and not serious). graded as a strict and top Excellent+ condition, if not for the tiny mark I would have graded higher!!! ,a Beautiful condition disc, this has been played a couple of times only ,I would say you may not find better the disc it is that clean. My site will have the strictest of standards and my grading is very fair to the buyer, you will not be disappointed a top example of a very rare LP.

The textured non laminated cover is also in really nice condition as you will see below, finding one better will also be very hard if not near impossible ,the cover is white and made from slightly textured paper so it will be prone to wear ,This one is in really fine condition and is very clean ,There is some scuffing to the titles on the spine (NO tears or deep scuffing) with a little ring wear to the bottom front, apart from this the cover is really nice clean and flat and grades a nice full Excellent condition. I think you may not find a better cover as it is that rare. The other 2 promo copies of this sold on e bay did not even come close!!!! I see people selling on E bay with creased up covers that are yellow and even torn giving them an EX grade , like how can a cover with a tear be EX is a joke, I keep this site to a high standard as most people now can not grade to save there life. Both original Birth labels Are in Near Mint condition, both are superb examples the best you may ever see.

The original paper inner is in a great Excellent+ condition. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to the original when in the post.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
