Description

Hi and thanks for looking. For auction is the 1966 LP “Chris Farlowe and the Thunderbirds”. Columbia SX6034 Mono (UK release). Featuring the excellent Albert Lee on guitar.

Track listing: Side 1-Stormy Monday blues Pt1/Reelin' and rockin'/Just a dream/Hey hey hey hey/Hound dog/Stormy Monday blues Pt2. Side 2-What you gonna do?/I remember/Itty bitty pieces/Girl trouble/Push-push/Voodoo.

Condition (using Record Collector Grading system). Sleeve = VG some light rubbing/ringwear/laminate creases on front. Vinyl = VG: Side 1 has some unattractive scuff/bruise marks similar to the marks sometimes seen on singles that have been played in a jukebox. However the record plays beautifully as if the marks were not there. Side 2 a few very light surface marks. In spite of the surface marks this album plays beautifully with excellent sound quality. Lovers of old vinyl will know that sometimes a record can play perfectly with some quite nasty looking surface marks. If you are looking for a pristine copy please don't bid.

This is a brutally honest description and generally speaking this is a very playable copy of a very hard to find and expensive album. A mint copy lists at £150.00 in the 2010 Rare Record Collector's Price Guide. I think the condition of this copy is more than fairly represented in the start price.
