Description

ATTENTION international bidders!
Please understand that altering the final price of online purchases to avoid customs fees is illegal.  Every order is processed digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item.  I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so. RECORD packaging & shipping!
I provide ample padding in each package to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.

Goldmine Standard Grading:

SS / NM- / VG++ / VG+ / VG / G+ / G / P
I grade conservatively, please see my grading scale below the record description for more details.

Chris Calloway
CUB Records

Pulled this one out of a collection I acquired from a long-retired DJ in the Charlotte, NC area.  Lots of soul, shag and r&b to list over the next couple months... keep an eye out!

*NOTE: Please read the complete description carefully and listen to the sound clips included below.

Vinyl:  strong VG  (6.5 or better out of 10)
This is a conservative grade. The record has been cleaned carefully. To provide the best description possible, detailed text, numerous pictures and audio clips are used to fully describe the record for sale.
Vinyl surface has light scuffs and marks, some marks are lightly detectable to the touch.  No skips. Nice sound overall, bright and clear as heard in the provided clip below with some faint noise, low volume in playback briefly on Something Else side.  Overall, play was strong, please listen to the complete playclip below for the ENTIRE record!
Labels are rather nice other than the name on one side. Feel free to judge the sound for yourself.
I refuse to over-grade and instead take pictures of the record at many angles to give prospective buyers the best idea possible.

Again, please judge the playback for yourself at the clips below.  For playback, I use a Fisher MT-6250 Studio-Standard Linear Motor Direct Drive turntable coupled with a Pickering DSE-1 cartridge/stylus setup.
The clips you hear below are one clip from each side, respectively. This is a visual grade as well as a complete play grade. Again, please feel free to check the sound clips below!

Cover / Sleeve:
The sleeve is standard, heavy cardboard sleeve with writing on one side... it will protect the record during transit.
The record will be packed tight and padded as all my records ship. Please see my feedback to rest assured I take pride in my shipping practices.
Please inspect the pictures well for something I may have missed mentioning. I've enjoyed the record while I've owned it, its time to let it go to make room for more acquisitions. I try to be conservative when grading, I hope my description was sufficient.

Thanks for looking!
Mike

P.S. If you have a problem with a record you purchase, please contact me through eBay's message system and I'll help you right away.  I do the very best I can to properly advertise every record I sell and take record collecting very seriously.

All records are packaged with care and shipped outside their sleeves and covers, encased in bubble wrap, padded with cardboard when necessary, boxed in record boxes and taped well. All orders are processed digitally to avoid shipping errors. Each buyer's physical address listed with PayPal and eBay will be automatically added to the label then printed and taped to the box. Delivery confirmation is free inside the US. International orders will have the complete order information including buyer name, record name, weight, final price and customs number clearly printed. Final value prices cannot and will not be altered for customs' sake, that practice is illegal and I will not mark any package as a gift. Please see the shipping details in the listing for the service being used. Buyer can contact me at any time to discuss further shipping arrangements.

Goldmine Grading Details
SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description

NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of perfect - acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent

VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or saw cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear

VG+ = Very Good Plus
 a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover

VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feel-able marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
