Hello Music Lover's and welcome to another rare, hard-to-find Acid, Fuzz, Psych, Rock LP auction! I had this LP up for auction last week and the winner got "Buyer's Remorse"...So, I'm relisting it again. Up for your consideration today is a rare LP that I came across at an estate sale not long ago. This sale was from a gentleman that was an avid collector of rare Psych records from the 60's - 70's. I was fortunate to be able to acquire several of his gems, including an original SONICS LP, some FATS DOMINO LP's from the 50's, ARTHUR LEE & LOVE, BUBBLE PUPPY, THEM and this rare, white label LP by the CHOCOLATE WATCHBAND ~ "THE INNER MYSTIQUE". He took very good care of his LP's and they are in excellent condition...
This is on the TOWER Label # ST-5106 from 1968. Its in stereo and looks almost unplayed! The cover was in a plastic poly sleeve and is a conservative VG++ I can see no wear at all, no writing, rips, tears, ringwear, shelf wear..nothing! Labels are neat & clean... no spindle marks!
The vinyl is very glossy, with just a hint of what appears to be a slight paper scuff.. maybe a very slight factory bubble in the pressing... a conservative grade of VG++ A very excellent LP that anyone would be hard pressed to find a better copy...A keeper for sure!! in the trail off wax is ST5106-A and reverse is ST5106-B

"Fuzz, Acid & Flowers" rates this as an R-2 for Rarity and this white label is much more rare than that!
Disclaimer:
There has been much talk/debate on counterfeits, bootlegs and reissues of this LP.. It has even been said that some of Tower's inventory was stolen and reproduced... I've seen the reissues on Raven Label-Australia 1981 and on Eva Label from France with +2 tracks...and all of the bootlegs seem to be on the tan label...but I have never before seen a white label reissue on Tower Label...All of the early 45's that were Promos were white label(see Watchband website-discography at bottom of page) So,after months of researching this LP I leave it up to you the buyer as to the originality of this LP.. I have not seen another like it and presume that it is rare..Original, boot, counterfeit, reissue? I don't know! It's got a White Tower label on it........You be the judge!
