Description
This is one of the more sought after of all the Chesky titles. It is titled "Pines Of Rome / Fountains Of Rome" by Respighi (RC-5). Performances are by The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fritz Reiner. This recording was originally done by RCA Victor and was released as one of the famous RCA Shaded Dog albums. The original 1960's first generation 3 track tape was used for this 150 gram audiophile re-issue. A Apex 300 series three track tape deck was retubed and completely rebuilt. A modified tube pre-amp was used to feed the signal directly to the lathe, bypassing the mixing console and equalizers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ************************************************************************************ The record is pristine with no marks, scratches or signs of play of any kind. The labels have no spindle marks. The jacket is very nice with no splits or tears. The corners are nice and sharp. Looks like it just came from the store. ****** Please see my other ads for more unusual and rare audiophile items including MFSL half speed LP's and gold CD's. Combine to save on shipping. Thanks.
