+ Mercury Album C-101 3 7" 45 RPM Singles w/o Box 1954 Black Vinyl
You're bidding on two Rare 7" 45 RPM Box Set editions of the of CHARLIE PARKER With Strings albums which
were originally issued on 10" LP's by Mercury Records in 1950. These 7" 3 Record Sets were issued a few years
later in 1954. The 1st set of 45's have the catalog # Album C-101 and were pressed on Black Vinyl. The titles
are: Just Friends b/w Everything Happens To Me, Summertime b/w I Didn't Know What Time It Was, and April In
Paris b/w If I Should Lose You. Unfortunately, the Box is NOT included. The 2nd set of 45's have the catalog #
Album C-509. These records were pressed on Red Vinyl and the titles are: You Came Along From Out Of
Nowhere b/w East Of The Sun, They Can't Take That Away From Me b/w I'm In The Mood For Love, and Easy To
Love b/w I'll Remember April. This Box is included. The Records are in VG to VG- condition and have some
scratches and scuffs. They play with pops and surface noise but none skip and the labels are in nice shape.
The Box for Album C-509 is in Fair condition with the Top separated from the Bottom. There are tears and splits
and a 1" piece missing from the bottom of the left spine. I've tried to show all imperfections in the photos.
These Sets are quite rare and should be a welcome addition to any Charlie Parker fan's collection.
