CHARLIE PARKER With STRINGS – supervised by Norman Granz; Mercury 3x 78 album set C101 cover. I have the first two discs, Recorded 1949: Just Friends/Everything Happens To Me, Mercury 11036, and April In Paris/If I Should Lose You, 11037. The third disc is Mercury 11089 recorded 1950 – Lover/Stella By Starlight – no mention of what album it is from. Note that each disc is on a different style label – I have no explanation as to why or which (if any) is better– perhaps different pressing plants?

Nice VG+ cover – David Stone Martin art on the front. Discs in various conditions but VG or better (E)US winner FREE media rate mailing; foreign customers please wait/ask at auction end for exact shipping amount.
