CHARLIE PARKER IN JAZZ AT MASSEY HALL. THE QUINTET with Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Max Roach and Charlie Mingus. ORIGINAL MONO PRESSING ON DEBUT LABEL (DEB-124). Record and cover in NEAR MINT CONDITION. Insanely rare and unfindable in this condition. The DEBUT label was founded by Mingus and he recorded only a few records on it before it went defunct. DEBUT label records were never available in the record stores. They could be ordered directly from Mingus for a short time and then they were gone. They were issued in extremely limited production. Generally regarded as the greatest live concert recording of all time and certainly a seminal record in the history of jazz. NO JAZZ COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT THIS RECORD.
