Description
This is a very old original 10" acetate with two tracks. On the label they are titled "Blues Un Boogie" and "What's New", it is a 33 1/3 microgroove acetate made at Associated Recording Studios in New York City, since microgroove discs started in 1948 I assume this is at earliest from then or in the years following. I don't know if they are same as issued versions or not, but "Blues Un Boogie" is 5:29 long and "What's New" is 4:56 long. The sound fidelity on the acetate is quite clean, it has some harmless scuffs and wear but no scratches, no distracting surface noise. Note in picture that parts of the acetate on the back blank side have worn off, but the front playing surface with the music is fine. I'm not that knowledgable about jazz, but this came from the estate of a music dealer who also had made a CDR of the two tracks, which I'll include in the package for the buyer as well.
