Still sealed copy of a record album that rarely ever shows up for sale.

Here's exactly what Discogs says about this vinyl LP:

- Original pressing of 300 copies. According to Charles, 250 copies were thrown away after a flood, and he broke one copy for good luck, meaning there are only 49 copies in existence. Original copies were sealed before Charles could include a lyric insert, so he handed them out after the fact. According to Charles, "My brother typed the lyric sheets without me knowing and wrote “loved in vein” without my permission, and brought a reem of paper over for stuffing. So I handed out the sheets and stuffed some autographed ones anyhow [into copies he unsealed]. I think he got the song words pretty much right." The lyric insert was first printed on seafoam green paper. Later copies were printed on white paper.

- The album was recorded between March 15-18, 1985. It’s marked 1986 because that’s when the pressing was paid for and the albums were received.

- It is unknown whether Fire Productions is an actual record label, or was just the name Charles came up with for his own potential production company.

Please note that the copy we are offering here does not come with the lyric sheet mentioned on Discogs, unless it happens to be inside (we didn't want to break the seal to check).

Songs include My Song, Goodbye Love, The Love Sick Blues, Nighttime Boogie, People Talking, Sail Away (Distant Planets Quaking), Rock & Roll Party, Born To Rock And Roll, Please Take Me Home, Hail To The King, The Governor, and Big Road Blues.

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.

With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting.

All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.

We ship within 1 business day of payment receipt - no holding of packages for any reason. Our packages are shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS) for most orders. UPS Ground option may be available on certain larger listings. Please ensure your address is correct before ordering/bidding.

United States domestic shipping is calculated based on package weight & destination.
We use eBay International Shipping for all shipments outside the U.S. International shipping rates, as well as any import duties/taxes/customs fees, are handled by eBay during checkout and not included in our prices. Such charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Our available shipping methods & eBay's calculated rates are non-negotiable.

For Fixed Price listings shipping within the United States, please use the “Add to Cart” button for desired items, then use eBay Checkout to purchase your items together. Shipping discounts are applied automatically during checkout – this system isn't perfect, and any overcharges will be refunded when the shipping label is printed.
Combined shipping is NOT available for buyers outside of the United States at this time (this is due to the way eBay's system handles International Shipping).

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, we offer returns through eBay up to 30 days. Shipping labels are provided, and refunds processed promptly when received. Per eBay's policies: If the returned item is used, damaged, missing parts, or is damaged during return shipping because it wasn't packaged correctly, deductions from the refund amount (no more than 50%) may be applied at our discretion.
