Here’s a rare first pressing of Charles Mingus’s private pressing double LP “Music Written For Monterey, 1965. Not Heard…played in it’s entirety, at UCLA Vols. 1 and 2.” This was issued by Mingus on his own Mingus Records and sold only by mail order.Disc one is in Near Mint condition, Disc two EX+, and both look barely played. The cover is VG++, with an invisibly repaired top seam split, a 3/4” split to the bottom right seam, and some light wear.
The only copy we’ve ever had of this scarce and great double album.
