Wenn Cat's Eyes' selbstbetiteltes Debüt der Dunkelheit entsprang, so ist ihr Zweitwerk im Licht geboren. Während man sich den Erstling "Cat's Eyes" als Schwarz-Weiß-Film auf einem Röhrenfernseher vorstellen kann, so ist "Treasure House" ein in Technicolor gefilmter Breitwandfilm, ein alter Blockbuster, wie sie heute nicht mehr gedreht werden. Durch die Arbeit am Soundtrack für Peter Stricklands "The Duke Of Burgundy" im letzten Jahr, wofür sie als Debütanten in diesem Bereich direkt den Preis in der Kategorie 'Best Composers' der European Film Awards gewannen, eröffnete sich für das Duo Rachel Zeffira und Faris Badwan eine Welt voller neuer Möglichkeiten.
