Original tripped up psychedelic ACID Folk LP by Catherine Ribeiro & Alpes entitled 'Paix'. AS trippy as it gets. Eastern psych prog folk with tabla , guitars, moog and totally trippy LSD atmospehere. Has " voyage " which is many years ahead of it's time, like experimental electro trip hop psych weirdness !!!! killer, will blow your mind !!

This album is difficult to pin down (as my many different tags indicate) but in a word, it is "mind-expanding" almost to the point of being mind-blowing. It is a trip for sure, to where I don´t know. If you are interested in progressive music that stays way off the usual path of technical wizardry and adheres instead to a punk-attitude of shouting, intense vocalizations, pulsating drum loops and natural echoes, this is your album. Sounds like Nico (if she ever had a proper voice) shouting her guts out to a bewildering vortex of natural forces. You could also imagine a punk band, say, the Stooges, drenched in the soundscape of early Pink Floyd (Saucerful of Secrets) and the Beatles´ most extreme psychedelia (Tomorrow Never Knows). It is that wonderful. Awesome, in fact, and quite addictive too.

VG+ = Very Very Good (Evident groove wear or minor scuff marks, surface noise noticeable but does not really affect the playing)
VG = Very Good (Wear and scuffs are more evident and many surface noises are noticeable)
