Various - Catchy Rhythms From Nigeria.
Scarce original lp includes tracks by Bobby Benson & His Combo / Steven Amechi & His Empire Rhythm Skies / J.O. Araba & His Rhythm Blues / Eric Onugha & His Eastern Aces / Chris Ajilo & His Cubanos.
A magical album full of sublime cuts. Personal favourites would have to be the incredible afro-cuban 'Ariwo' by Chris Ajilo & His Cubanos. A killer piece of deep percussive african jazz music! Also the lovely 'Taxi Driver, I Don't Care' by Bobby Benson & His Combo which has Bobby hailing a cab and driving off before tooting the horn as a signal for the music to begin, fantastic stuff. Very essential album!
Scarce album almost impossible to find in good condition.

Vinyl has some scuffs and obvious light surface marks visible under direct strong light. Mostly non feelable marks and nothing deep or heavy. Some minor background noise and crackling in some passages with a few very minor clicks here and there which are unintrusive and don’t detract from enjoyment of the music. Labels have minor spindle wear. Jacket has some wear around opening and wear to corners. Some discolouration to unlaminated rear and also some ringwear. Small writing in ink to top right rear.
