The British Casuals (there was also an US band with the same name) were a typical 'One hit wonder' with their greatest hit "Jesamine" in 1968. Founded in 1965 they had been a few years in Italy and from 68 on they gigged also a lot in the UK which led to a contract with Decca. After their surprising No. 1 hit they released an album one year later. But every effort peaking the charts again was failed. So they split in 1972.
When you hear 'Jesamine' you will surely recognize...

CONDITIONS RECORD: Visually both sides are deep shiney black and have all of its original gloss, seen in critical 100W light! Both sides are in NEAR MINT (M-) condition with only very very small amount of tiny hair line marks from being removed from the inner sleeve. Both sides of this great album play without any clicks, pops or crackles. No scratches. The sound quality is great!!!! LABELS: Both labels in NEAR MINT (M-) condition with no marks. COVER: Front only gloss laminated cover with the slightest ring wear on the front (hardly to see!) and a little more on the unlaminated rear! No tape. No splits. No writings, no stamps, no stickers. No edge and spine wear! This wonderful cover must be grade as EXCELLENT+!
