Description
Rob Carr & Bill Kahl: "Communication 1" 1971, USA/Grotesque 101. Disc has lots of light surface scuffing, nothing deep and it plays M- on my system but I must give it a VG grade. One label has a name stamp on it. Cover has lots of wear to the seams but the panels look great, has a tiny name written on the back and also the name stamp on the back cover in a dark area so it's hard to see. The cover gets a VG grade as well. Very rare and excellent private LP by two fine acoustic guitarists, this has a feel similar to Davy Graham's Decca-era work to my ears, and Jorma Kaukonen is referenced as well with a fine instrumental version of "Today" (credited to Carr-Kahl... oops!). Vocals are scarce on this LP but one track has a stunning multi-tracked wordless female lead. This LP is quite a gem, and very rarely offered.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
