CARCASS - Swansong LP
*NOTES: ORIGINAL black vinyl (with silver-ish labels), U.K. pressing on Earache from 1995 (no lyric insert included). RARE. CARCASS goes NWOBHM! This album truly was the group's "Swansong," as they would prove to disband shortly after its release, before reforming again 10+ years later, initially as a touring act only. As we all know, they would eventually get back into the business of releasing new material. But, nearly 30 years later, Swansong still holds its own, as a somewhat uneven, but yet slightly underrated, LP with a few quite powerful and catchy heavy metal songs.
*CONDITION SPECIFICS:
-COVER: EX. Still very glossy, has lost little of its luster. Slight ringwear, a couple of corner dings, no seamsplits to speak of. Back cover has a small "IRS Records" sticker (see pic above). I am assuming that this was the distributor at the time in the U.K. for this particular title (?). Do not let it detract you though, this is indeed an authentic first generation copy, from the coveted original, mid '90s pressing.
-VINYL: VG. No issues apparent from strictly visual inspection. Maybe a faint spot or scuff here and there.
