CAPTAIN MARRYAT- Same- Many people watching the ebay auctions where surprised seeing this album selling for the past few month 3 times for nearly 3500 Euro each. Before that, this album was completely unknown. Captain Marryat are from Glasgow, Scotland and recorded this demo album in 1974, released in a tiny pressing on the Thor label, hopefully to get an EMI or Chrysalis deal. They wanted to record only a single but came up with a complete album of self-composed tracks. Since it was not that easy for a Scottish band to get attention down in London, this album was the only pressing ever done and sold at band gigs only.
5 musicians, great organ, vocals, extra heavy fuzz-guitar, drums and bass, amazing underground songs, influenced by Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Beggars Opera, a true lost classic. Where where lucky to find the band to made a deal so this beauty can conquer the world of rock music. (Shadoks) SEALED MINT and soon on everyone's wish list for sure!!

Packaging & Shipping:

We are extra careful packing and shipping all our items. Records are always removed from their sleeves to avoid seam split covers (except for sealed records), extra padding is added to assure a strong and solid package. Items are shipped in strong LP mailers within 48 hours of payment reception. We endeveour to provide the best, faster and most secure service possible. WE ONLY SHIP REGISTERED AIRMAIL . This way it's possible to track down packages. Any other shipping method is always a risk, so if you really prefer to have your package not registered and pay less for shipping, you must agree that you assume responsability for a lost package. If you choose NON-REGISTERED shipping, you must send us an email confirmation that in case of loss or non-receipt, you assume all responsability and therefore give up your right to any complaints. If you do not agree with this then please do choose the recommended registered shipping method!

Our grading is based on the Record Collector Grading system with the addition of + and - for a better level of accuracy. 
We grade strictly and conservatively!

We accept PAYPAL (free of charges) or a Bank Wire (free of charges within EU).
Cash on pick-up is also accepted.
Bank wires from overseas are expensive and require a % added to the total.
