This is the UK 1st press of 'Strictly Personal' by Captain Beefheart. The 1st press is complete with earliest A1//B1 matrix, the earliest blue Liberty label, the original inner and gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational high gloss. There are just a few very wispy light marks, otherwise it is fantastic. The label is clean and very bright with light spindle wear. The blue is solid, the white is crisp and the text is sharp. On playing the sound is extremely vibrant, bold and clear, there are some brief moments of background noise but it still sounds superb. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve.
The 1st press gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The sleeve still has its wonderful original sheen and the colours are vivid. There are a couple of light corner creases and the very slightest corner wear. The inside is perfect, exactly the same as the day it was printed. The whole cover still feels exceptionally solid. The spine is firm with clear text.
