Capsicum Red - Appunti per Un' Idea Fissa (Bla Bla, Italy 1972) gatefold cover: VG++/ disc: VG+ ...... Rare Italian progressive LP. Unlike some of the copies that have surfaced, this does not come with an insert. Cover has light-to-medium ringwear and other general wear which you might not catch at first glance. The inside gatefold is very nice and the seams are tight with light fraying to corners. The disc has many light/hairline scratches (but nothing particularly hideous) and a fair amount of overall wear and plays with light surface noise that's only really audible during the quiet parts. It could probably benefit from a spin on a good cleaning machine (wish I had one.) Like many Italian prog LPs, the music frequently turns on a dime from mellow pastoral to heavy frenzied angst.
