Description
FIRST EDITION - the most highly coveted prize in the Cannonball Adderley canon. (I couldn't help myself!) Cannonball Adderley on Blue Note. Miles Davis was in such awe of Cannonball's talents that he agreed to play as a sideman on this, his only release on Blue Note. Deep Groove original, machine stamped RVG with 9M and ear. 47 West 63rd NYC address, no "INC" no "R". Owner's name written on back cover; plays through with only mild surface noise at beginnings of tracks and quiet (nearly VG+) through the rest of the tracks. Strong VG. Front and back relatively nice and clean and seams in decent shape as seen in photos, with bottom near opening the worst condition. Overall great play for a low low minimum, this is a great opportunity to get one of America's most coveted jazz collectibles at a reasonable price.
