Description

Outstanding vintage jazz LP featuring CANNONBALL ADDERLEY on the BLUE NOTE label, from 1958. Title is “Somethin’ Else.” Catalog number is BLP 1595.

Record is thick vinyl, with deep groove. Label address is "BLUE NOTE RECORDS * 47 WEST 63rd * NYC" on both sides. Has "RVG” machine stamped in trailoff vinyl, "ear" symbol on both sides. Jacket has "For complete catalog write to BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 63rd Street, New York 23, N.Y." on reverse at bottom.

Personnel consist of the following: MILES DAVIS – trumpet; CANNONBALL ADDERLEY – alto sax; HANK JONES – piano; SAM JONES – bass; and ART BLAKEY – drums.

Side 1 contains following songs: “Autumn Leaves,” and “Love For Sale.”

Side Two contains following tunes: “Somethin’ Else,” “One For Daddy-O,” and “Dancing in the Dark.”

Jacket is excellent, would grade near mint except for a very small wear spot at bottom right corner and a few slight surface blemishes on reverse. Overall a very fine jacket with no serious flaws. Front artwork is nice and pristine.

Vinyl is pristine NEAR MINT. It appears to have been played no more than one or two times and handled with utmost care. It is truly a beauty. I am certain the winning bidder will be very pleased.
