COVER STOCK STILL WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAP INTACT. STEREO STICKER ON FRONT IS ON TOP OF SHRINK, THE LP IS MONO HOWEVER. CORNERS WITH SMALL ROUGH SPOTS AND OUTER LAYER LOSSES ON POINT. SOME LIGHT OVERALL AGE DISCOLORATION TO WHITE CARD STOCK.

SPINDLE HOLE WITH SOME LIGHT AND FAINT RUB MARKS. THE HIGH LUSTER VINYL BLANK WITH A FEW LIGHT SURFACE SCUFF MARKS AND SURFACE RUB SCUFF LINES UNDER BRIGHT ANGLED LIGHT. I'VE TEST PLAYED THIS LP ON THE VPI TURNTABLE AND PROFESSIONAL SOUND SYSTEM AND IT WAS A WONDERFUL PLAY WITHOUT NOTICE OF THE ABOVE. SOUNDED MINT MINUS HERE.

This is a fine all-around set from the Cannonball Adderley Quintet of 1960 with the altoist/leader, cornetist Nat Adderley, pianist Victor Feldman, bassist Sam Jones and drummer Louis Hayes. The fifth of seven LPs reissued by Orrin Keepnews and taken from Adderley's Riverside years finds his band in top form on the original version of "Sack O' Woe," a previously unissued "Our Delight," Jimmy Heath's "Big 'P'" and "Blue Daniel" among others. It's a strong introduction to the music of this classic hard bop group.

AND, LASTLY, PLEASE DO REMEMBER SOUND QUALITY IS AFFECTED BY WHAT THE VINYL IS PLAYED ON! IF YOUR STEREO SYSTEM HAS BEEN CAREFULLY CHOSEN AND ASSEMBLED FOR IT'S AURAL QUALITIES AND YOU PERFORM BASIC MAINTENANCE LIKE CLEANING YOUR VINYL, CLEANING THE NEEDLE AFTER EACH PLAY, AND REPLACING THE CARTRIDGE WHEN NEEDED, YOUR LPS SHOULD SOUND QUITE GOOD.
