CANNONBALL ADDERLEY “Cannonball Takes Charge”
1959 ORIGINAL BLUE /SILVER LABEL VINYL LP
 U.K RIVERSIDE RECORDS < RLP 12-303 > MONO
carefully graded GOOD PLUS condition disc  . So hard to find these days.  Heavyweight FIRST PRESS  original black vinyl sheen and clean labels. Displays hairline surface marks and mild non feelable scratches each side. HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL plays well with crackle and pop under the music. NO STICKS OR JUMPS Would no doubt benefit from a pro clean. So, not a top copy but a very rare record in listenable condition. Great addition to any serious Jazz collection at a low price.

VERY GOOD MINUS thick card Sleeve as shown. Top right corner 4” corner split has an old repair.NO WRITING .  SEE PHOTOS TO MAKE SURE IT FITS YOUR NEEDS . overall a respectable sleeve.

Records carefully graded according to the UK Record Collector guidelines plus the following :
Excellent grade (EX) most collectors are very happy with Excellent condition discs - barely any signs of play with no visible or seriously audible surface marks Near Excellent (EX-)  a disc which may have a few faint surface marks not seriously detracting from the listening enjoyment Very Good (VG)  a disc which has been played a fair amount of times with a few noticeable marks and maybe a few non-feelable scratches . No skips jumps or sticks . Audible surface “distortion may be heard under the music but not seriously distracting for most collectors of a rare record. Still a very respectable playing copy Near Very Good (VG-)  as above but perhaps with a slight dulling of the playing surface due to many light scuffs . A well played copy which may have a fair amount of crackle and pop under the music and the odd click. No skips jumps or sticks Good (G) a collection filler grade. Record still plays but sounds like a 78rpm gramophone record with sound distortion. Crackle and pop throughout. Still worth collecting until a better copy comes along at a price you can afford.
