rarest record from Germany and one of the rarest in the world!  Can's first album issued as a private edition & strictly limited to 500 copies only !!

stunning rare German first press and limited edition (only 500 copies pressed) vinyl LP released 1969 on green MUSIC FACTORY (SCHEISSHAUS RECORDS) stereo label with catalognumber SRS 101. The cover unfortunately not perfect with issues on the frontside (see photo zoom for details), but what makes this copy so special is that the vinyl is in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - just perfect!  There is one visible scuff, but it is not audible... I playgraded this copy on highend equipment (Koetsu pickup / Platine Verdier) and I am happy to confirm perfect NEARMINT/MINT condition - no tics, no clicks, no background noise, or anything alike, just absolutely superb soundquality far superior to the later second pressings on Liberty label.

I thought I knew 'Monster Movie' as I have listened to this album (2nd press) so often in the past, but when I first heard this original first pressing edition, I found that I didn't have a clue before. You will discover sounds that you have never heard before on later editions or on CD... This original pressing sounds absolutely stunning with crystal-clear powerful dynamic soundquality. Apart from the cover issue, this is surely the best Music Factory vinyl I have seen and heard in many years... maybe someone has a perfect cover to go with it.  Don't miss this mega-rare Krautrock masterpiece by Can recorded with true audiophile soundquality. 

I wonder how many copies of this album still exist in such perfect vinyl condition... this is stunning great music which was played on every 1970's party at least here in Germany, 100 times per night, typically on poor equipment, covers used to build filters for 'special cigarettes', wax dripped on covers and records ... I sure only a handful mint copies are left nowadays in collector's vaults, and surely this vinyl copy here is an extremely rare find and very special indeed... see photos.
