Hardly any group approached the stage in a similar way as the influential German experimental rock band Can, who didn't sound on their albums anything like their live performances. Live In Arles 1975 is the latest discovery found in the Spoon archives and shows the foursome in what is considered by many - band members and their admirers included - as the best period of their career. The six untitled improvisations ebb between hypnotic, freeform detours and moments of near-telepathic interplay, with 'Arles 75 Drei' being especially notable among them. A reminder that Can were never the same band twice.
