Description

Rare private pressing classical double LP record. Camilla Wicks Thomas on violin (the same Camilla Wicks that did the sought after Sibelius LP) in recital with Horace Martinez (piano). Un-edited live performance November 4, 1973 (2 LP's; 3 sides of music, 1 blank side). Cover says "Proceeds of this issue will be used by the Physical Therapy Department of the Deaconess Hospital in Wenatchee and the Lake Chelan Community Hospital. Not for commercial sale or reproduction". Features pieces from Beethoven, Richard Strauss, Pablo De Sarasate, Henri Weiniawski, Scarlatescu, Nin, and Paradis. Foil part of the cover has some scuffs. I think it's not as bad as the photo would lead you to believe. Hard to get a good photo of a shiny cover. Upper right corner is "chewed up" about an inch (see photos). Vinyl VG++.
