Just spent a few hours going through some boxes of 45's actually looking for some old ska stuff to get rid of and there was this beauty .Its sat there now for well on 40 years ,story behind this item is that it came out of some old ecord shop stock that I salvaged in 1974 most of which was ska. And that's were its sat ever since .no idea I had it!- though I am an out and out soul collector I do love this record I think its great and so atmospheric.
Condition -I did have a habit of writing initials on labels then ,only reggae ,as this tended to get nicked when playing out and I indexed this as reggae back then (don't know why)
vinyl has a glorious deep shine to it but it is a little dusty (going to be cleaned and more better photo's will be up loaded) and does have a light scuff.
Otherwise I would grade as EX minimum (never grade mint) but being conservative will grade as VG+++
The photo = I have tried to get to show the great condition this item is in but not a good photo .Sat away for four decades!
I know what I want for this record and if the bidding or an offer does not match this then I may withdraw the record as I have no intention in giving this rarity away.
Copies seen sold over the last few years are in the 400 -600 pound range and this is a very.very nice example
