From my personal collection, 100% original stock copy of ‘Lovemaker’ . This 45 is top shelf UK psych and on many a wants list. Known to many via it’s inclusion in the Rubble Series, this 1968 release on the tiny Conder label rarely shows up (10 copies on Popsike vs far more for other psych grails such as Tintern Abbeys Vacuum Cleaner for example)

CONDITION:

A note on grading I use the Record Collector grading system with the addition of a (+) or a (-) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition. Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Thorens 124 MKII turntable with an SME 3012 arm and Ortofon SPU cartridge.
I have been collecting and trading records for many years and genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. For this reason I treat grading very seriously and as my feedback suggests conservatively.

Record:

The Conder textured labels have suffered on the A side, (As can be seen in the label pic) in short a thin top layer of the label has been removed either by sticker removal or due to poor storage? (Label condition = G) the centre is intact and 100% original. No writing, stickers or other difficulties. The playing surface is flat and unbuckled displaying a reasonable lustre. Under angled light the surfaces display paper traces / scuffs, fortunately the pressing is very loud and only the slightest disturbance can be heard on the intro of ‘Lovemaker’. The B side has similar blemishes with the addition of a deeper mark which again doesn’t interrupt play due to the high quality of this loud MONO UK pressing - Please listen to the sound clip above for a clear sense of the aural condition (The recording was made from the disk for sale with no filtering) Visual grade of the playing surfaces = VG. Aural grade = VG+ to EX
