What an amazing rare example of Tex-Mex Rockabilly vinyl. I spent my entire working life in the recorded music industry and was working in a retail record store at the time this disc was released and I cannot recall ever seeing a White Label Promotional copy on these early Roulette Record releases. This disc, Roulette Records 25003, an original pressing, is being placed for auction by a long time music collector and radio personality. It is in excellent condition and I just hope my pictures do it justice. The vinyl has a high gloss surface and the rare white labels are as new. The disc retains its original see through tissue paper sleeve and it has some cut through. The jacket could have only survived in this amazing condition if it spent its entire life in the hands of a serious collector and it’s apparent that it has. I see very little in the way of surface marks on the glossy coated jacket and I believe that is because it has been stored in a heavy plastic sleeve. There is no jacket cut through nor are any of the corners bent or indented. The only marking on the back of the jacket actually adds value to its uniqueness, the blue ink rubber stamped word “SAMPLE”. There are a few very small dark dots that I would call Aged Spots, they show up when you turn fifty. Selections: Party Doll, Don’t Make Me Cry, Rock House, Rock-A-Billy Walk, Devil Woman, Rock Your Little Baby To Sleep, Hula Love, Mary Lou, Maybelline, I’m In Love With You and Rock Around The Clock.
