Budapest String Quartet - Beethoven LATE QUARTETS - Columbia 360 2-eye Gray Labels - M5S-677 - BEST! - 5LPs
To many, this is the definitive boxed set of Beethoven's LATE QUARTETS. The players are the original Budapest String Quartet, who, frankly, at the time, became the most popular Quartet ever in the history of recorded classical music. That said, this box isn't at all easy to find.
Box is fine, a little edging on the spine though not as yet seriously so. Very minor shelf the rest of the way, this being a sturdy, clean box.
Inside, each of the discs is meticulously kept. Nary a spot, let alone a scuff or mark of any sort. Pristine surfaces indeed, that should play near mint at the very least. Booklet is enclosed and fine.
Great playing set of a classic collection.
