Brutal Truth - Need To Control - Box Set - (5 varying sizes records to make up the album, very nice package) C A/B (all in all a very solid and fine example of this very rate box set. A few scuffs and marks around and within but nothing major ) V A

Vinyl Record Grade Guide:

Cover

A+ :very much as new, could pass as being new or is new.

A: Very good, may be very minor marks or creases.

B: Good: perhaps creased edges and deeper markings/ scrapes.

C: Average: Some deeper markings and creases may have minor tears

D: Still functions as a sleeve but has tears or missing sections

Vinyl

A+ :very much as new, could pass as being new or is new.

A: Very good, may be very minor clicks, pops and scratches.

B: Good: perhaps having bearable scratches with very few jumps.

C: Average: Some deeper markings or section of the record with prominent damaged.

D: Still functions but is damaged possibly throughout, ideal for mounting for display or Art projects etc.

Examples of quality grad:

A+ : Held in storage from new by a collector, any faults or skips are from manufacturing.

A: From a careful owner who infrequently listened to the record, more of a casual collector.

B: The majority of Records from ebay or elsewhere pre owned fall into the category: used a lot but lots of life left.

C: Car boot quality, lugged around from show to show, may have damage but collectable to the hardened collector, listenable to but most likely has much dust and constant hiss/cracks.

D: Lower end of Car boot quality, badly damaged in places if not throughout, can be listened to but with quality suffering. Type of records you would mount in a frame, destroy in the name of art, or to the most hardened collector, that missing record needed.
