Description

Notes from your seller

As I understand it, all the records I am selling probably fall between VG and VG+ on the “Goldmine Standard", and I am certain many are probably EX; however, I don’t feel competent to give these or any other subjective grading. I will say that all LPs I am selling are fit for pleasant listening without undue distraction from click and pops — yes there will be a few, but they won’t be so frequent that you continually hear them for fear for the well-being of your stylus. Also, I will not knowingly sell any record which would cause the stylus to jump, or is warped etc. If I do list ever list anything with a significant flaw, I will make the faults abundantly clear in the description and price it accordingly. I would rather a customer buys a record and is pleasantly surprised by it being better than expected, that is disappointed by mistaken graded. In summary, with every record I would like you to expect a G; but I will hope, in practice, you will find it much better than that.

The majority of the records I am selling were bought between the mid-1970s and the early-1990s, and have been in my possession since. I stopped buying and playing my LPs in the 1990s and replacing them with CDs; but I but I could not bring myself to part with them until now; but it is better now that they are appreciated by someone else rather that sitting idle (and later being chucked out). During the life of these records, the cartridge/stylus I used was first a Shure V15 Mk III and later a Linn K9, which I am still using now.

With regard to visual appearance of covers, I will leave that to your own judgements from the photos (I am not using stock images), but I will also mention anything I notice that I think might not be obvious.
Album specific history & Notes
I bought this box set new when it was released in the early 1980s. I don't recall playing this very often. The lower left corner of the outer half box has split (the inner half is sound). The box contains the original "sleeve notes" booklet.
