Title: Bittersweet
Artist: Bruce Vanderpool
Label: Raydar (Waverly, NY); RPI 115A/B; 205223A/B; Original
Condition: Vinyl is strong VG+, with a few light marks and scuffs. They do not affect play, which is excellent throughout. There is one very short series of light tics in Track 1, Side 1, but otherwise there is only minimal surface noise in the quieter passages, and neither of these issues detract significantly from the listening experience. There are spindle marks on both labels, but the vinyl still retains much of its original gloss. The jacket has the original paste on covers on both front and back (see scans) and some general cover wear, but there are no seams splits or tears. Note also that there is a small dedication/autograph written in ink under the artist's name on the front cover (See scan).
Comments: Excellent original copy of this insanely rare private press singer song-writer LP, from upstate New York. Due to its rarity, I am listing it with a reasonable reserve, because, in my book, it is one of the few private press "monsters" which is worth big bucks. Check my other auctions for comparable rare records, and thanks for looking.
If you place a bid on this item, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully, and ask any questions before bidding. I will respond promptly.
Payment: Paypal only. Do not send payment until you receive an invoice, which we will send soon after the auction ends. This is especially important for international customers, who must pay for registered mail (with a tracking number) on items which sell for $100 or more. Payment must be received within seven days. A non-paying bidder alert is filed automatically on day eight.
Packing/Shipping: I pack all records in sturdy cardboard record mailers, with cardboard flats or bubble wrap, which provides excellent protection for your purchases. Records are removed from their sleeves/ jackets to prevent damage in transit. As a record collector myself, I understand the importance of packing securely. My previous feedback verifies this claim.
All items are shipped within two business days of receipt of payment, and I will notify you when I ship your item. Please notify me of any problems with your transaction, and I will try to resolve them within the guidelines below.
Grading: As my feedback indicates, I grade records professionally and accurately, according to Goldmine standards. I play grade all records which look to be in less than Mint-Minus condition, which means that any visual defects will be noted and that the record's playability will be accurately and specifically described. It is possible, though unusual, for a record which grades M- visually to play below that grade, in which case, you may certainly return it according to the policy below.
Return Policy: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I accept returns on all items I sell (except sealed LPs which the buyer has opened), and I issue refunds according to the following policy: You pay (non-refundable) return postage and mail the item back to me within one week after receiving it. When I receive your return, in the condition in which I originally mailed it to you, I will issue an immediate refund through Paypal. I will refund both the cost of the item and the buyer's original postage cost.
Feedback: I post feedback for all buyers as soon as I receive theirs. Customer satisfaction is important to me, because I am also a record collector. I want you to be happy with your purchase.
Postage: The following rates are for single items, so multiple items will require additional postage as indicated below.
U.S. Postage: The $4.00 rate includes postage (USPS Media Mail), and the cost of packing materials. Please note that Media Mail can take from ten days to three weeks to arrive. If you want your item sooner, send your zip code and a request for a priority rate. Delivery confirmation, with signature confirmation and insurance required on more expensive items, will be included in the $4.00 shipping cost at my discretion.
International Shipping Costs:
If an item sells for less than $100.00, I ship to international customers USPS First Class Mail International, via registered mail to provide a tracking number. Registered mail will cost the customer an additional $10.00. See rates below. International buyers should adjust their bids to account for these additional shipping charges on more expensive items. Please also note that International customers are also responsible for all customs charges.
