Description

You are bidding on a 7" EP that contains a "Live" version of Bruce Springsteen's "Circus Song" (Columbia; AS 52) issued in 1973 as part of Columbia Records Play:Back subscription club.  This particular release features four songs recorded "Live" at Columbia Records "A Week To Remember" events at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles.  The shows were between April 29th through May 5th 1973.  Tracks feature:

Smokey Factory Blues - Albert Hammond
Circus Song - Bruce Springsteen
Down At The Bar - Loudon Wainwright III
Little Red Hen Blues - Taj Mahal

Record comes with a booklet that reviews the week of shows.  Play:Back was a subscription series where they sent out 7" samplers of new and sometimes "Live" material.  You were asked to fill out a questionnaire to return with your opinions.  There was a nominal fee to join the club to cover shipping expenses for the EP's.  Record is in excellent condition.  I probably played it once.  This edition came in a generic sleeve.
