Greetings All (No Springsteen first album title pun intended!!!),
Up for auction is an original Bruce Springsteen Nebraska LP signed by Bruce Springsteen "The Boss himself" (Matrix Label TC 38358, Side 1- AL 38358/Side 2- BL 38358, 1982). This is a phenomenal record. As you can see, this is a great example of a Springsteen signature (at least in my opinion); the B in "Bruce" and the S and T in "Springsteen" usually are large and drawn out a bit more than his full name as seen on this piece. Signed in a very nice blue clearly and full on the cover. It looks beautiful, the cover itself however I rate as VG due to some edge wear and (visible in photos) some slight creases. The inner sleeve is outstanding and the record itself is in great shape with some light wear and very few marks that should not affect play (a VG grade for the vinyl itself).
I purchased this recently from a reputable collector in Nashville and was planning to hold on to it and frame it, however, I am thinking of holding out to try and get Bruce to sign an LP copy of The Ghost Of Tom Joad that I just came across someday. I must note and PLEASE READ/NOTE HERE: the item does NOT come with a COA and was purchased at face value without one. Since it does not have a COA, I will start it low and by all means feel free to determine for yourself what this item is worth. I will also start low so everyone can have a chance to bid on this item.
This is a great item and a great album and I would ordinarily try to hold on to it a bit longer, but really believe if I am going to frame something to go for one album instead of two. So by all means, let this great album find a home. Will ship in a high-quality LP mailer with lots of care.
