BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - "COVER ME"/"JERSEY GIRL" - VINYL 5" SHAPED PICTURE DISC, LIMITED EDITION, 33 1/3 rpm 1st PRESSING!!
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN Cover Me (1984 UK limited edition 5"" Shaped Picture Disc single also including a live version of Jersey Girl recorded at the Meadowlands Arena in New Jersey on 9th July 1981 housed in a clear sleeve with display plinth. This item has taken on a tea discoloration caused by overheating during the manufacturing process which is relatively common in picture discs from this period and it doesn't affect the sound quality the plinth has some visible signs of wear, edge creasing and a tear.  Please see pictures showing all sides of the assembled plinth.  The disc is in fair condition with some visible scratches.

There were two pressings of this disc.  The first (for unknown reasons) was not well received.  After the 1st issue flopped, 6-7 months later, the 1985 issue was released, essentially the same BUT it is EVEN MORE PRONE to discoloring.  Again, this is the ORIGINAL, FIRST PRESSING, identifiable on the back of the disc, at the top of the leg that is extending, under the word "STEREO", there is a printed black bar.  That black bar is covering the incorrect record speed (45 rpm), with the correct, 33 1/3 printed beneath.  I do not have the clear plastic sleeve, but I am supplying one.

This will make a great addition to any collection!

I am not a professional grader, and I grade by eye.  All sealed records will be graded as mint/mint unless there is obvious damage/wear to the cover/sleeve,which will be noted above and pictured.
