Description

Bruce Springsteen "Circus Song" + Albert Hammond "Smokey Factory Blues" / Loudon Wainwright III "Down At The Bar" + Taj Mahal "Little Red Hen Blues"

This is a US vinyl EP from 1973 on Play Back AS-52.    It's a 7 inch, with a small center hole, that plays at 33 1/3 RPM.      All songs are live.   At the bottom of the label it says recorded at Ahmanson Theater.       It comes in it's original Playback sleeve.     These songs are unique to this EP.

The Bruce Springsteen cut is a unique live acoustic song.    He sings low and slow and you have to turn it way up to hear his words.    When the tuba comes in it will give you goosebumps.    This is a great song !!

Play Back is a series of promo only EP's pressed by Columbia/Epic Records and sent to members of their record club.   All you had to do was review the songs and send them your opinions.

Condition :   Company sleeve : VG+  /  Record : VG+

The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+.   There are light paper marks from going in and out of the sleeve.      You can't see any scuffs or scratches, but there is light static ( crackles and ticks ) that can be heard during the playing of "Circus Song".    ( that is because you have to turn this song up real loud )    The labels are perfect.    The Playback sleeve is VG+.     No splits, no writing, but slight impression from holding the record.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.       I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.          I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.     And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care during packaging and do each one personally.      I use hand cut cardboard, which I get from a trucking company.   (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.)      Each piece is 1/2 inch thick and together they are very stronge.       I always remove the record from the picture sleeve and tape them inside a clear plastic record sleeve.      All packages are marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :

You have to pay for the postage.   So,  I pre-weigh each package and you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.       This record will weigh 13 ounces when ready to ship.  US winners can figure out your own postage costs for US First Class or Media Mail.    I will send it through Paypal and you will get an email with the tracking number.    Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.     After I send it, I will send you an email with the date I mailed it and the US customs number.         (Buyers from Brazil will assume all risks for shipping to your country.)       I will send your record as soon as you pay. (same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM, Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine postage if you win more than one record.    Please wait for my invoice for all of your winnings in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will gladly wait seven days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers that have more than two strikes against them.
