Bruce Springsteen "The River"

This is a US vinyl pressing on CBS PC2 36854  from 1980.   It's a double album in a single pocket cover.    The cover is not as thick as other copies of the album.  ( the original cover was about 1/4 inch thick with squared sides, like a box)   This cover is not like that and the edges looks as thin as a regular single album.   The labels do not say Columbia Records.    They say : "CBS Special Products" in yellow at the 9 O'clock position with one thin yellow ring around the edge.   The rest of the label is all red.    This is either some special reissue or a misprint.    It's still in the original shrink wrap.     The front cover has a sticker on the shrink wrap that says : '2 LP's  20 New Songs  Featuring the hits 'Hungry Heart', 'Cadillac Ranch', 'Fade Away'.     There is a bar code on the back cover.    It has the lyric insert and custom inner sleeves for each record.   

The songs are : The Ties That Bind, Sherry Darling, Jackson Cage, Two Hearts, Independence Day, Hungry Heart, Crush On You, You Can Look, I Wanna Marry You, Point Blank, Cadillac Ranch, I'm A Rocker, Fade Away, Stolen Car, Ramrod, The Price You Pay, Drive All Night, and Wreck On The Highway.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M /  Record is M & M

The cover is Mint with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   The vinyls look mint and they play mint.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 11 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 27 ounces ( 1 pound, 11 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
