Description
The vinyl on this two record set is excellent, two sides are graded Near Mint and the other two sides are graded VVG. The cover is also excellent with good construction, corners, edges and gloss. The cover does have slight edge wear (mostly on corners) and some creases. But overall a nice package.

18 Tracks is an album by Bruce Springsteen, released in 1999. All but three selections had been on the boxed set Tracks, released a half year before. This single album was intended to capture more casual fans, and thus was oriented towards the shorter, more pop-oriented selections from Springsteen's vault.
"The Promise", a Darkness on the Edge of Town outtake that gained considerable reputation as Springsteen's ultimate tale of betrayal following live performances beginning in 1976 and even more so in 1978, was included in a newly-recorded version among the three new numbers after howls of outrage((fact)) from the faithful for leaving it off Tracks. "The Fever" had been recorded in 1973 but never seriously considered for inclusion on an album; instead, it became familiar to progressive rock radio listeners as manager Mike Appel released it to such stations in 1974 and it became an underground hit. It was also recorded by Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. Obscure early-1990s Human Touch outtake "Trouble River" was the third "new old" cut.

Vinyl Record Grades
Mint / New / Sealed - Never played . Still in original sealed plastic.
Near Mint- Record itself looks new, appears to have never been played
VVG (or NM-) Record itself looks new. May have very superficial imperfections (light smudging, seen under light angle reflection) , not affecting the playing or sound of the record.
VG++ - The record may show some slight signs of wear, light scuffs, light smudging, very light scratches, that do not affect listening experience.
VG+ The record will show some slight signs of wear, light scuffs, very light scratches, that may affect the listening experience, especially at low volume times. There will be no skips.
VG Will have obvious signs of wear, lack of original gloss. Light scratches that will be audible. Does not skip on my system.
Good - Will probably have scratches or defects that are audible. Records may be warped. There could be skipping and /or loud pops.
All attempts will be made to list other imperfections of the cover such as liquid damage, split seams, tears. missing pieces or other damage in the description.
