SIDE ONE TOO HIGH IN THE SYCAMORE TREE JESUS BOUGHT MY SOUL GOD MADE THE WORLD THE HARPS OF GOLD THE BOOK OF DANIEL JESUS KNOWS SIDE TWO HEAVENLY FLOWER HAPPY AS A BIRD THE HOLYROLLER I’M NOT TURNING BACK SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND LITTLE ELLIS NO ONE LOVES ME LIKE JESUS I was born in Barwick, Kentucky in Breathitt County, the oldest of seven children, son of Tom H. McQueen, a coal miner who was killed in a mining accident April 15, 1947. Shortly after this, I met my wife who was then Zada Mae Crank. We were married March 9, 1948 and soon after- wards, we were saved. My wife was saved two days before me. These were the two longest days of my life. Since Jesus came into our lives, we have had a happy home. We love the work of the Lord very much. I began writing songs before we were saved, but was never able to write much except gospel songs. We now have some 250 new songs. Many times during the night, I get up to write a song. It depends on when the Lord sends it to me. For ten years I went from church to church singing and praising God, working the talent God gave me. Then a short time ago, I was called into the ministry. We are now having revivals and weekend services. God has blessed our work. Our oldest daughter Rose is 16 years old. She helps with the beginners class in Sunday School at the home church which is The Community Penticostal Church of God located ten miles south of Covington, Kentucky on KY. 16. Mary and Rebecca sing "No One Loves Me”. Mary is 10 and Rebecca is 7. We have nine living children and one dead. Also, we have four fine brothers in the Lord, from our church who gave their time and talent to the work of the Lord and the making of this record; Tom Bates - lead guitar, Tommy Taylor - violin & banjo, Bill Wolfinbarger - bass fiddle and Jerry Sizemore - electric guitar. These fine boys are a blessing to our church. They also sing and are avail- able for weekend services and singings. We all join together in hoping this record is a blessing to you. As you listen to these songs, just listen to what God has done and give Him the Praise. He did the work, I’m just an instrument he used. It could well have been a small child P. S. We also have another long play of all new songs titled ’’The Preacher and The Gourdvine”. These records can be ordered by sending $4. 00 for one or $7. 00 for both. Send to: CAGER McQUEEN R #1, BOX 346 All Songs in this album are composed and owned by Cager McQueen DE MOSSVILLE, KY.
