• Up for grabs is a truly extraordinary, museum-grade vinyl rarity: a genuine, original vintage factory white-label test pressing / promo copy of the legendary self-titled heavy psych-funk masterpiece by Broth.
• Produced by the iconic Steve Verroca, this short-lived outfit consisted primarily of brilliant Cuban and Puerto Rican musicians who blended blistering, fuzzy psychedelic guitar solos with heavy, driving Latin funk percussion and free-jazz horns. Think an absolute powerhouse cross between early Santana and Jimi Hendrix.
• This specific archival piece features blank factory white labels with vintage handwritten cataloguing ("Broth A 6338 032 April '71") from its pre-release distribution. It is housed in the incredibly scarce, beautiful alternate European-printed picture jacket (showing the iconic man eating soup in the snow), which is highly prized over the standard US cartoon art.
