Up for auction is an original copy of Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes fame very first ever released album, ‘Water”. This is the one folks, a 13 year old Oberst’s first foray into the music world in which he is now dominating. The cassette was released in 1993 and is catalog # LBJ-01. This is the very first EVER release from which would be latter known as Saddle Creek Records. There is one problem, the cassette suffered some warping being stuck in a car on a hot summer day. The tape is perfectly intact but the casing is slightly warped. It will only be able to play if the tape is transferred to another cassette housing. These tapes are SUPER rare, and this minor problem is only a small setback to the serious Bright Eyes aficionado. The artwork and tape case itself are in mint condition. This release is sure to be in the same league as the much fabled Nirvana Fecal Matter cassette. These are rarely if ever seen on Ebay. Even with the warped tape housing this is still an awesome purchase.
